Sue established Oxford Learning Kanata in 1996. Originally from the UK, Sue has lived in Kanata for over twenty-five years and her two children have attended local schools. Sue made her early career in Human Resources Management for many years before coming to Canada in 1985. In her spare time Sue sings soprano in a choir in Ottawa. She has sung at Carnegie Hall!

Katie holds an Honours BA in Psychology from Carleton University and completed her Bachelor of Education with Primary/Junior qualifications at The University Of Ottawa. She is registered as an Ontario Certified Teacher. Katie joined Oxford Learning in 2011. She was drawn to Oxford Learning because of her love of Cognitive Psychology. Katie is dedicated to ensuring a nurturing and enriching environment for all of the students who attend Oxford Learning and believes that every student can learn to grow and thrive cognitively. In her spare time she enjoys visiting art galleries, listening to music and trying any new food that she can get her hands on! She is currently learning to play the violin.

Natalie, our bilingual assessor, is a University of Ottawa graduate and has been with our team for over 5 years. She possesses two Bachelor of Arts degrees (Advanced French as a Second language and Religious Studies) as well as her Bachelor of Education, FSL at the primary/junior level. She is a qualified Ontario Certified Teacher. Natalie's passion for education has led her to pursue her Masters of Education in teaching, learning and evaluation. She believes that all students can achieve their full potential when taught to use their strengths to overcome academic challenges. In her spare time, Natalie can be found practicing Bikram yoga, weight-training, or planning her next travel adventure; she is extremely curious about other cultures and hopes to travel the entire world one day.

Linda, who is qualified as an Early Childhood Educator, has been teaching the Little Readers program for 11 years. She also teaches primary students in our After School Program. Linda has a passion for literacy and takes great pleasure in seeing children making progress in their reading. Linda is a patient and encouraging teacher who brings out the best in her students and takes a keen interest in their individual needs. In her spare time Linda enjoys music, art, reading and practicing hot yoga. She is an avid gardener who enjoys spending time in her beautiful backyard with her dog Portia.
