I was born and raised in Mexico City and attended a private girls school. After graduating, I attended The University of the Americas (UDLA) in Mexico, where I received my Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Economics. My career has taken me across North America; initially working in the retail sector in Florida, USA then catering services and hospitality industry and as CFO at a drug rehabilitation center.
I have always been committed to helping others, especially young people of all ages. This is a commitment that runs deep in my heart.
I believe that establishing a supportive, encouraging rapport with students, allows trust to develop and thus the learning experience becomes more successful.
It is my goal to inspire my students to work harder, by building on positive re-enforcement so they can be proud of themselves and their achievements.

Hi, my name is Nasrin. My nationality is Persian but I was born and raised in Dubai, U.A.E. (if you don't know UAE is a dessert so it’s SUPER hot there). I moved to Canada in 2004 and I love it here!
I recently graduated with my Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Education Counselling at Simon Fraser University. I truly enjoy working with kids; I have been volunteering with a non-profit organization, teaching children classes and animating Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment programs since I was 14 years old.
My future goal is to become an elementary school teacher.
