I have a Bachelor of Education in early childhood. I have been working at Oxford Learning for about 5 years and just adore the Little Readers program. I love the outdoors, camping, skiing and hiking; now I wish I could teach outside! :)

I grew up in a small town outside of Ottawa where I loved to skate and ride my horse. From a young age I knew I wanted to be a teacher. After graduating university with my teaching degrees I decided to do some world exploring. I moved to Belgium to teach third grade, speak French and travel around Europe. I have teaching experience in most elementary grades and special education. I came to Calgary this past summer and I can’t wait to get on the mountains!

I am very excited to be part of the Oxford Learning Little Readers program once again this year. My personal philosophy has been to support each child's abilities, personalities, and give them the opportunity to reach their potential. I obtained a science degree in dietetic from the University of Alberta and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Education at the University of Calgary. I have had many wonderful experiences over the years working with children and parents. I look forward to sharing a fun-filled year.

I graduated from the University of Calgary in 2006 with a Bachelor of Commerce. After running my own business I decided to make a career change, so now I am pursuing a Masters of Teaching degree. As a native Calgarian I enjoy the outdoors, from hiking to snowboarding, but my true passion lies within the sport of field hockey. I have played for 13 years at various levels and have coached for 10 years. I have tutored all throughout my university career. Now working at Oxford Learning, I look forward to meeting you and your child.

I grew up in Montreal, QC and moved to Calgary three years ago for a change and new opportunities! Ever since, Oxford Learning has been a significant part of my life. I started as a French tutor while completing my BA in French. As a tutor since high school, I very much enjoy working with my colleagues and the wonderful families at Oxford Learning Centre.

I’ve been teaching for three years now. So, me in a nutshell, eh? Well, I’m a nerd at heart; I have a passion for reading—just about anything. Other than that, I enjoy traveling, jogging, and flavoured tea. Snow Patrol completes me. My pet peeves have to be ignorance, narrow-mindedness, and road rage. I’m a student of life and live it by Mahatma Gandhi's words “Be the change you want to see in the world.” :)
