Carol Yinghua Lu, curator and art critic, & Liu Ding, artist, are currently guest-curators of Museion for 2013. Based in Beijing, they have collaborated on Little Movements: Self-practice in Contemporary Art, which opened in OCAT Shenzhen in 2011 and in Museion, Bolzano, Italy, in 2013. They also co-curated the 7th Shenzhen Sculpture Biennale 2012.  Their work is emblematic of current artistic practice in China that traces the seismic changes in the cultural landscape resulting from the booming art market.

Little Movements is a research project and is a practice, discussion, publishing and exhibition project in the field of contemporary art and theory, which examines various artistic, curatorial and institutional practices.  Their installations investigate different forms of engagement with art, and as such, Little Movements offers moments of introspection rather than self-reflection.
